I’m an Irish
Based in New York
Growing up I was always artistic, doodling constantly. My school art teacher told me she knew I would be a graphic designer long before I even knew what graphic design was. I soon learnt my creative flare combined with my strategic thinking and perfectionist nature meant graphic design was the perfect fit!
After graduating from the Limerick School of Art and Design in 2012 with an Honors Degree in Visual Communications, I made the move to New York with the ambition to kickstart my career. I was honored to be granted with an 'Individuals of Extraordinary Ability' Visa and worked in at the fast-paced design agency, Marena Studios, for almost three years. In this role I grew from junior designer to being the lead designer on many projects.
In early 2016 I focused on my freelance career full-time. My driving ambition and eagerness to expand my skills helped my business grow from strength to strength, with clients spanning the globe. Running my own business tought me a lot about business management and allowed me to choose to work in the areas I was most passionate about; branding, print, packaging and illustration.
When my design business gained a name for myself in the West of Ireland it also opened opportunities in teaching. I took on a part-time role lecturing design and branding at LSAD and ran a branding workshop for the New Frontiers business start-up program.
Now living in Yonkers, New York, I’m excited to embark on the next chapter of my career.
